The dream took place in the hospital and I was waiting on the pregnancy. I was in the room when she finally gave birth and I saw the baby first. I thought the boy looked a lot like her but also had some of my features. I was incredibly happy. I kissed my ex. The dream was very vivid and real feeling. Other things went on like my mom and friends coming to see the baby. The baby smiled at me once, and i was very very happy. The dream was pretty emotional and brings up some interesting questions. Its especially odd since one of the downfalls of our relationship was my unwantingness to loko ahead to stuff like having a kid. My ex wife left me about 3 years ago; her choice, not mine. I'm happily remarried now, but for the last few months, it seems like at LEAST 3 times a week I've had a dream about my ex wife, and we are always doing something fun that her and I used to do. My wife now, is wonderful, but just doesn't enjoy doing the kind of things that my ex wife and I used to go do. But after reading the story about Trudie, it makes much more sense.
