Daydreams
Daydreaming is that deliciously foggy time that exists between your conscious frame of mind and your unconcious frame of mind. You are, by no means, fully asleep, but you definitely aren't in the here-and-now. You're there. And there can tell you a lot about yourself.
Half the time daydreams are treated as afterthoughts in the realms of dream study. The other half they aren't even given that much consideration! The prevalent thought seems to be that since they don't take place in our completely unconcious mind they aren't worth looking into. However, we're of the mind that since they don't take place in our completely unconcious mind , they prove to be of even more worth.
Granted, the prophetic nature of a daydream isn't the same as that of a standard dream. In fact if one was merely interested in the study of dreams from the standpoint of prophesy, they probably wouldn't even give daydreams the time of day, forgive the pun. The rest of us would do well to give them all the attention and respect we can muster.
Most dreamologists (from those of us with a deep-seeded passion to those who simply want to know more about them) examine every facet of dreams, looking for any information to enrichen and enlighten their lives. We often pick apart our nightly escapades - trying desperately to recall every detail, then consult our dream guide to analyze ourselves and, in turn, our lives.
We work so hard and with such determination that we fail to realize what's right in front of us (sort of like the forest - trees analogy).
We have hundreds of golden opportunities that pass by every week - opportunities that we don't have to struggle to remember. Also, unlike dreams that occur while we're sleeping, daydreams don't come with hard to decipher symbolisms.
We call them worries, idle thoughts, fantasies, and escapes. We say our mind is running away with us or just wandering off. They're daydreams and they hold a most vital key to the door of self-analysis.
Daydreams can do much more than just analyze you, however, and we'll get to that also. But first let's look at what the types of daydreams you're having say about you.
