How much do you know about Sleep Apnea? I really didn’t know a lot about it until recently. I started studying Sleep Apnea while working on an article for Dream Prophesy.com - I was amazed at how dangerous this disorder can be. Read over the symptoms below and if any of them sound familiar, please see a doctor to be on the safe side.
First of all, what is Sleep Apnea? Sleep apnea means “cessation of breath.” Basically the person’s airways become obstructed, and I don’t have to tell you how dangerous this sort of thing could be! Oddly enough, the person doesn’t even realize they have the disorder - the person in the bed with them is very often the one who recognizes that something isn’t right.
Symptoms of Sleep Apnea:
* Excessive daytime sleepiness
* Frequent episodes of obstructed breathing during sleep.
* Loud snoring
* Morning headaches
* Unrefreshing sleep
* A dry mouth upon awakening
* Chest retraction during sleep in young children (chest pulls in)
* High blood pressure
* Overweight
* Irritability
* Change in personality
* Depression
* Difficulty concentrating
* Excessive perspiring during sleep
* Heartburn
* Reduced libido
* Insomnia
* Frequent nocturnal urination (nocturia)
* Restless sleep
* Nocturnal snorting, gasping, choking (may wake self up)
* Rapid weight gain
* Confusion upon awakening
Again, if several of these apply to you or to someone you know, you should see a doctor to play it safe. A sleep test, called polysomnography is usually done to diagnose sleep apnea. Chances are you (or the other person) simply snore and wake yourself up often with the noise! But, be safe.
Mild Sleep Apnea is usually treated by simple behavioral changes. Losing weight, sleeping on your side are often recommended and often do a world of good. There are even some oral mouth devices on the market that may help to reduce snoring in three different ways. They help to keep the airways open. Some devices (1) bring the jaw forward or (2) elevate the soft palate or (3) retain the tongue (from falling back in the airway and blocking breathing). Sleep Apnea is a progessive condition (gets worse as you age) and should not be taken lightly.
Okay, one last time - Look into this if you’re at all suspicious!

Hi,
I had a really weird dream.
I now have one piercing in each ear and wear earrings. In my dream that occured
twice this week, i had two piercings on each ear and I wore gold earrings on
both of them. Everyone was very excited and happy that I had two piercings in
each ear, especially me. This dream like I said occured twice. Do you have any
idea what it means? I’m really curious.
Thanks
The first thing that came to my mind when I read your dream is that perhaps you’ve done something recently that you’re proud of. Your accomplishment gives you a sense of pride, but you’re holding back because you aren’t an egotistical person and you’d never want to come across that way.
Not only does your dream produce a feeling of elation for you, but as you mentioned - even the earrings were gold….a definite sign of success and achievement.
If you’ve done a great job at something - be proud, you should be!

The dream that I blogged about recently (about Mountain Climbing) had a lesson for all of us.
The dreamer did a great job of gathering all of the details. A lot of dreamers overlook things like colors, but the colors in this dreamer’s dream told the whole story. If I hadn’t known that the outfits were red, I wouldn’t have known how very important this dream was.
Also, the fact that she studied the dream long and hard caused her to realize that the sky was unusually bright and blue - and a GREAT deal of the analysis came from this fact.
When you have a dream, write down all of the details - even the ones you think aren’t important….because, in the end, they might be the most important part of all!

Hi! I hope you can help me out. I had a dream a few weeks ago that was so clear and bright and unbelievably vivid that it has stayed with me. I mean, I dream every single night - but most dreams are just forgotten in a day or two. But this one is on my mind a lot.
I was climbing a snow-covered mountain in my dream - and I’ve never even seen a mountain in real life. Let alone climbed one. But in my dream, I had on this mountain-climbing type of outfit, big, heavy hiking boots, a pick, a huge, heavy bag of food for survival, and a huge heavy rope tied around me. It was snowing but my head wasn’t covered. No hat, no scarf. My husband was at the top looking down and shouting words of encouragement. He kept saying I love you and keep it up.
All the heavy stuff I had on me caused a rock slide under my feet and next thing I know I’m hanging on by just one hand. I start screaming - then I look down and my husbands now at the bottom saying, “I’ll catch you!” So I let go and that’s when I woke up. I bolted up in the bed and scared my poor husband to death.
Oh, you talk alot about colors in dreams. I was wearing a red outfit. So was my husband. Also, I didn’t think about it at the time, but now that I’m thinking about the details - sky was as blue and bright as a summer day. Not like the white-gray sky that usually goes with snow. I’m hoping that when you tell me what all of this means, I can quit thinking about it all the time! - Mollie K.
Hi, Mollie!
First of all, the vividness of the dream means it really hits close to home. The meaning(s) behind this dream are as close to your heart as it gets - and your mind knows that the message is important. So you were haunted by the dream until you made a move and sought out answers.
I’m struck by the vivid colors in the dream - the red of your suits, the whiteness of the snow, the bright blue sky - sounds beautiful and sounds like your mind VERY much wanted you to remember this dream. Maybe even be “haunted” by it. It even provided you with a dramatic ending - when dreams end dramatically, we’re more inclinded to remember them, so the mind will often use this tactic to MAKE SURE we don’t forget.
In dreams, red speaks of intensity and passion - it has a very strong presence and much can be learned from a person’s thoughts and feelings if red plays a prominent role in their dreams.
The fact that you and your husband were both wearing red indicates that you have a very strong bond. The mountain indicates that you are (both) involved in a dilemna, problem, or decision right now. The dream tells me that he has a firmer hold on the situation than you do at this time. Not only is he at the top, he had the “power” to move to the bottom at will….offering to help you in each instance.
This suggests that maybe you are “on the fence” about a decision or are more worried about a matter than he is. The fact that your own mind placed him in this position tells me that you know he’s right about something - and that you….while not necessarily wrong, have lost your “handle” on the situation.
I love that your husband shouts out that he loves you in the dream! When I was first reading your dream and I got to the place where you said your husband was at the top….I knew that we’d have our answer as soon as we saw what he was doing and/or saying. I was afraid he’d be laughing or taunting (if that were the case, we’d have a whole other, ugly analysis to deal with!). I was relieved to read your own words - that he was encouraging you. That’s a very, very good sign that you have a great marriage.
I’m going out on a limb, here - but from years of exploring dreams I’m going to guess that maybe he wants to start a family and you are a bit unsure….for whatever reasons. Maybe you’re afraid of the whole idea or worried about what it’d do to your career or your education. The details of your dream suggest that you have “weighed yourself down” with too much thinking…..all the rope, the extra gear - they all indicate that you’ve gone too far in some direction: either your thoughts, fears, plans, or objections. Somehow, my dear, you’ve overdone something! You’ve “burdened” yourself with too much heavy stuff and your mind wants you to realize the “fall” you might be setting yourself up for. I hope you and your husband will have a really long talk and find the answers you need.
Your mind is telling you in the dream to trust your husband - it put him in the role of hero, after all! And it most definitely wanted you to remember the dream. By the way, the bright, blue sky? That’s your mind’s way of telling you not to worry - there aren’t clouds ahead…there are bright blue skies!
I wish you the best of luck,
Joi

What is up with me? I love celebrities and love celebrity gossip. I have frequent dreams that I meet a celeb and i want thier autograph really bad. well, then, he/she goes to get a marker to sign something and then i wake up with that empty feeling and i get sad b/c i don’t have the autograph. i’ve had about 15
dreams like this, no kidding. what is that?
ok, and then, the other night, i dreamed i met Ace Young. and i was like,”can i have your autograph?” and he had a pen right there and signed it. then i posted it on my wall. i woke up feeling like i finally got what i wanted. i know that these have to mean something.-Thanks
Hi! It’s not at all uncommon to dream of celebs. The really interesting thing is that we tend to relate our lives to certain celebs - and this shows up in our dreams. For example, a woman who’s feeling really powerful and in control of her world might dream of Oprah Winfrey. Someone who’s feeling down on their luck, unappreciated, and wronged might dream of…..I dunno….K-fed.
If Ace is one of your favorite Idols (How could he not be?) you have feelings, recently, of accomplishment. You’re riding a good mood wave and life is smiling on you. Something else to consider - we all know that Ace didn’t get a fair deal on Idol. Simon and the rest never really gave him a shot - and he deserved to make it A LOT further than he did. You may have a few feelings of underappreciation lately. Maybe you work really hard at what you do (school, work, relationships, etc.) and feel like people don’t really notice or appreciate all that you do.
If you are really into celebs, which most people are, you could get a good idea of your mental state at any given time by the celebs you dream about. If you dream about your favorites….and things go well in the dream(s), you are in a great place. You have a lot of great kharma going on and should take advantage of that.
However, if you dream of celebs that you have little use for, or if things in your dream(s) aren’t too great - you’re in a bit of a funk and need to find your way out!
Many of the emotions we have in our day to day world make their way into our dreams, they’re just often very sneaky about it!
Thanks SO MUCH for sharing your dream!
