COUGHING.
Coughing in dreams seems to indicate that there has been something on your mind that you’ve been putting off. Usually, this something is something that you want very much to say. You can take the symbolism to be “Getting something off of your chest.”
If you dream that you have an uncontrollable cough, you are feeling out of control of at least one area of your life.
COURTSHIP.
Any dreams dealing with dating, courtship or romance indicate that love is very much on your mind. Be warned, however, that the person in your dream may or may not be the one you really love. They could merely be a symbol for the person, or for one of the person’s traits.
COW.
Cows are a great sign of prosperity and peace. They’re considered to be amongst the luckiest dream omens one could have.
CRABS.
Dreaming of Crabs indicate confusion and turmoil in your life. Things around you have probably been chaotic and you’ve been wanting very much to try normal on for size!
Eating crabs in your dream is a warning not to allow selfishness to become a way of life.

The colors in our dreams are FULL of meaning. To overlook them (or to not pay enough attention to them) could mean missing out on a very important analysis or prophesy!
Below are the most common color symbols along with the emotions conveyed by each. Only you can say for sure which, if any, of the emotions listed apply to you and your current state of mind.
RED: Anger, violence, lust, passion, temper
YELLOW: Cowardice, distrust, angst, anxiety
GREEN: Envy, abundance, rivalry, spite
BLUE: Sad, calm, regret, relaxation, content
PURPLE: Passion, wealth, desire
WHITE: Purity, hope, emptiness, utopia, wish
BLACK: Calm, fear, peace, evil
GRAY: Calm, ambivalence, wisdom, gentility, confusion
ORANGE: Lively, conceited, pride, assertive, powerful, fun, eager
BROWN: Comfort, nurturance, shame, unhealthiness, weakness
The above is just a guideline. The best thing for you to do would be to think of each of the above colors in terms of what they mean to you. Obviously, if red means “romance” or “sex” to you, the interpretation would be a little juicier (and funner!) than the ones mentioned.
Start looking at the colors in your dreams. Then ask yourself what they’re each symbolizing. It’ll open up a whole new spectrum of possibilities!

We all know how fascinating and fun dreams are to talk about and to put under our mental microscopes - but have you ever stopped to think about how many people have found the pearl in their oyster BECAUSE of a dream or dreams? Lewis Carroll’s classic “Alice in Wonderland” was actually inspired by a dream the author had. It has become one of the best-loved books and films ever and if not for a dream, it would never have existed!
Here’s another, even more amazing example:
“Chemist Friedfrich Kekule had been working to understand the structure of the benzene molecule. One night, in 1865, he fell asleep and dreamed of the atoms dancing. They formed a snake and, before he knew it, the head of the snake bit its own tail, forming a ring.
Professor Kekule, inspired by his dream of the circular snake-ring, hypothesized that the benzene molecule was a ring. He was correct and this discovery was a huge leap for organic chemistry.” (From “Complete Idiots Guide to Interpreting Your Dreams” - offensive name but awesome book!)
Below is a list of other well-known dreamers who did some of their best work while asleep!
Salvador Dali
Orson Welles
Amy Tan
Steve Allen
William Blake
William Butler Yeats
Robert Louis Stevens
C.S. LewisEmily Bronte
Edgar Allen Poe
T.S. Eliot
Percy Bysshe Shelley
Mary Shelley
LUdwig van Beethoven
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Anne Rice
Maya Angelou
Henry David Thoreau
There are, of course, countless others who’ve been inspired by their dreams! I would imagine that a great many authors have had characters and plots “created” within their dreams.

Let’s take the most common type of daydream first, worry.
We all know this one on a first name basis. Your loved one is 15 minutes late and your thoughts run to negativity like a moth to light. If he or she were an hour late, anyone would be concerned, but if 15 minutes is all it takes to call out the negativity patrol, it would pay to take a closer look at yourself and why this is so. CONVICTS.
Dreaming of convicts is never a good omen, under any circumstances. This type of dream is letting you know that bad luck is headed your way.
As far as analysis goes, you have probably had some sort of an issue with something you’ve recently said or done. You’re trying to come to terms with something you feel somewhat guilty about. The dream pretty much is telling you to quit beating yourself up. If there’s something you can say or do to cause the guilt to lessen, by all means do so. If not, let it go.
COOKING.
To dream that you are doing something such as cooking indicates that you have alot of things lined up in your mind to get done. You’re approaching the stage of “biting off more than you can chew” - so catch up on what can be handled before lining anything else up!
CORN.
Corn, as a symbol, stands for health and vitality. Generally, only good luck is associated with this vegetable.
COTTAGE.
A cottage is a very good, positive symbol. It stands for happiness, peace, comfort, love, and success. You are in a gloriously positive place in your life right now and are putting off a near perfect aura. Good things lie ahead for you and those you love.
COTTON.
Cotton symbolizes growth and improvement. It means that your tomorrows will be even better than your yesterdays.
Cotton clothing or blankets indicate the warmth in your personality.

I’ve been reading so many books and articles on dream analysis and interpretation that I feel like a dream library. I’ve come upon alot of great, new information, though. I’ve also been having a blast, some of the most colorful, whacky people in the world study dreams, and they’re nothing if not entertaining. They all agree that more can be gained from analyzing our dreams than we ever thought possible. The key is learning what our dreams are trying to tell us. We have to delve deep into our dreams and extract the symbolisms and the messages.
One method is to conduct a “mock interview” with the people in your dream. For example, say you dream that your sister picks a fight with you. It’s suggested that you ask your sister why she initiated the fight. Except, you don’t literally ask your sister, you ask yourself as your sister. After all, you created the dream - so you’re ultimately the one that had her do this. By doing this exercise you can uncover all sorts of buried feelings.
In the example above, your answer may be, “Because you spend more time with your new friends from work than you do me!” If this were the case, it’d be obvious that you have feelings of guilt you really weren’t aware of.
Then you can take your sister out for lunch and everyone’s a winner!

We recently had a catastrophe with our e-mail/contact system wherein a few dreams e-mailed to us were entirely lost. We hate it so BADLY and tried relentlessly to recover them, until we finally realized they were as gone as last week!
So we re-did our entire set-up, which took us about two days. That sort of thing will never happen again now. All in all, I think we lost two individual’s dreams, as we had all ready responded to all of the others. The last two were requiring a little further research. We would absolutely LOVE to hear from the two dreamers again.
Also, remember, unless you state in your message that you’d rather it be answered privately, we post the dreams here on the blog (WITHOUT NAMES, of course) and analyze them for everyone’s benefit. We get a lot of dreams e-mailed to us directly at dreamprophesy.com that we just respond to in e-mail.
HOWEVER, if you’d like yours interpreted on the blog, please fill in the contact form below - and we’ll get it taken care of within 24 hours….now that everything is working properly!!!

COAT.
To dream of buying a coat of an kind means that you are needed by those you love more than you know.
To dream that you are not wearing a coat when you should indicates that you need to pay more attention to how others perceive you, that perhaps there are those who take your laid-back personality as a sign of aloofness.
Wearing a coat in a dream indicates comfort and security.
COFFEE.
It’s a very good sign if you dream that you’re drinking (or making) coffee, for it indicates that you will find happiness and contentment.
Coffee seems to symbolize warmth and affection (I can certainly understand that!), so to dream of coffee indicates warmth in the dreamer and affection for those in the dream with you.
COIN.
To dream of coins jingling in your pocket means a life untroubled by financial worry.
To find a valuable coin in your dream indicates that you will soon be given more responsibility but that you will shine and more than rise to the task.
Losing coins means that you failed to take advantage of a recent opportunity that you should have taken advantage of, and that deep down you realize it.
COllecting coins means that you may have several irons in the fire but you’ll be successful with each.
COLD.
If you dream that you are cold, it indicates that you have many warm friends and loved ones who will always be there for you, as you should be for them.
COLLECTING.
If you dream that you are collecting anything, such as stamps or coins - first see the interpretation for the thing that’s being collected.
The dream further means to watch out for quarrels that may develop over the next few days. Try to hold your tongue, when at all possible - but if you’re right and know you’re right, “collect” your thoughts and say what’s on your mind. (Just be sure you’re right, first!)
