Dream Prophesy

To dream of falling is a fairly common dream. We’ve all had the experience of bolting up from sleep, trying to catch ourself before we fall!

This sort of dream has several meanings. First of all, to dream of falling means that, in at least one area of your life, you feel out of control. There is something, or someone, you feel powerless to weild any control over. Children, finances, spouses, debt, employees - they’re all possibilities. Another possibility is SELF.
People who are trying to quit smoking or drinking often experience these types of dreams.
The prophesy from the dream is that you are in danger of losing your “footing” or “hold”. You need to step back, take a good honest look at the situation and take it from there.
Every situation is different, of course, so only you can say for sure what your next step would, or should, be. You may simply need to give yourself a pep talk or seek the company of an encouraging friend or family member (both if necessary!). Another possibility is that you may be trying to control something that is BEYOND your control. If that’s the case, you need to just let go of the reigns before it drags you down.

CARVING.

CARDS.
Watching others play cards is a warning for you not to take any important steps or make any changes any time soon.

CARPET.
If you dream of cleaning carpets, you will soon succeed in a particular area that is of the utmost importance to you.
Simply seeing carpet in your dream speaks of your desire for everything to be orderly and “in it’s place”. You have probably been overworked lately and feel that some things are being neglected. The dream is letting you know that sometimes you just have to do what you can and let the rest go!
CARROTS.
Add carrots to the list of foods that are a good omen in dreams. Dreaming of this veggie indicates good health, now as well as in the future.
If you dream of growing, planting or picking them, the sign is expected to be (in addition to good health) a great sign for your career.

Here is a dream we received from an “Anonymous” dreamer recently:
Wooden Labyrinth Maze

Sad dream of ex-girlfriend watching me play a maze game with a reset bar. Much bitterness in this dream..I often dream of her waking up in cold sweats but this dream had a game in it. The game itself was a Wooden Labyrinth Maze that I had about the time of our relationship. I’ll leave a jpg location at the bottum of this story of the actual type of maze game. It may help you understand what I was seeing in my dream. The maze was different in my dream because of a reset bar. Their were 2 bars one on the right side and one on the bottum. Strange thing was her mother was in the dream and was standing behind her. Has anybody got any ideas how I can try to exorcise this deamon out of my dreams? You know it’s bad enough i had to deal with this relationship in the waking world but i did and I have moved on. I’m married now and would like to put this person’s memory away but it appears my mind isn’t ready to do that. I’ve tried meditation tapes & prayer.

How maddening it must be to have recurring dreams. You have to be so frustrated. The tricky thing about Recurring dreams is that by focusing on them we make them even worse by “more firmly” setting them into our unconsciousness.

If at all possible, try to put as much distance, mentally, between you and this dream.
If you still have feelings for this person, I really don’t think you’ll be at peace until you deal with them. Sometimes our day to day lives get go stressful that we think back (often) to less stressful times - as well as to the people in our lives at that time. The ex-girlfriend could possibly simply represent a more carefree time and it’s also possible that SHE isn’t what you yearn for as much as you do more fun, and less work.
The maze in the game probably represents stress or conflict. Perhaps if you try to bring more fun into your life now it would help. Maybe you could take your wife to simillar places you and your ex went to. Take her out for a burger, a movie, or even a night of playing arcade games. Make a habit of doing something fun each and every day. Be spontaneous and carefree - and include your wife. I think these dreams will go away in less than a week!

What is REM?

REM, or Rapid Eye Movement is the period during our sleep where dreams occur.
In the 1950’s, scientists proved that during this time, our eyes move rapidly back and forth - hence the name. This time is also sometimes referred to as “paradoxical sleep” because our nerve center during this time holds our body in near paralysis.

CANE.
Seeing a cane means you will called upon to answer a question or questions. You will have the answers and will be able to save someone else a lot of time and trouble.
Carrying a cane means that you will be able to correct a mistake in judgement you recently made. The damage done by this mistake isn’t nearly as bad as you thought it was.
A broken cane means that you will be involved in a disappointing experience.
CANNON.
A cannon shooting off means that you will soon hear startling news, which may be good OR bad in nature.
CANOE.
A life of peace and happiness lies ahead of you if you dream of lazily drifting along in a canoe.

We recently received a request for an analysis of rain dreams. Our dreamer was having recurring dreams about rain. Ironically, a few nights ago, I was (in my dream, anyway!) riding a bike in the rain in Denver. I’ve never even been to Denver, let alone ridden a bike there. (I’m a huge Bronco’s fan, so maybe I was just getting ready for football season!)
Anyway….

The symbolism for rain is generally that of cleansing or purity. What this usually indicates is that the dreamer has either recently “cleaned up” or “improved” an area of his or her life. They may have worked through something tricky at work, lost a few pounds, quit smoking, etc. On the flip side, the dream could be reminding them of something in their life that needs this exact attention. Only the dreamer would really know for sure, but most of the time this sort of dream is telling them that they’ve done something quite well!
The prophesy for rain dreams is considered to be very good - indicating luck and happiness ahead.

We receive a lot of fascinating dreams (from a lot of fascinating people!) and a common theme is love. One of the most frequent love dreams involves a feeling of jealousy or betrayal. It seems to be a popular dream that, needless to say, troubles the dreamers.

Rest assured that this sort of dream is not prophetic. Ironically, to dream of your sweetheart cheating on you or betraying you in any way seems to speak of their loyalty. I don’t understand why this is true because the opposite would SEEM to be true! Be that as it may, you can put your mind at ease.
Oddly enough, if you dream that YOU are the one cheating, look out! You are in for a spell of misfortune.
